The Sacred Moon Lodge Teachings

Join me as I reveal the blood mysteries. Like woman, they are
ancient, eternal, consistent and ever changing. They speak of:
'She who bleeds, but does not die'. They echo the sacredness
and the power of life, death and rebirth. They awaken within
our body and being, the wise woman. Listen. Do you hear the

Come with me, sweet sistar. I will lead the way to deeper and
more meaningful understanding. I will offer unto you the songs
of healing. I will assist you in honoring who you are as woman.
My teachings are ripe for women of all ages (girls who have just begun bleeding and every woman who has ever bled, regardless
of whether she still bleeds, or not.) who wish to re-member and
to celebrate in sacred circle, the powerful medicine journey of being woman. During this 6 week program, I will guide you as
we embrace the obscure Moonlodge Teachings. I will whisper
the faintly familiar truths that unfolds innately within when we honor our heart song. The ancient blood mysteries have long been passed down from generation to generation... and yet, for some, the sacred bonds have been broken and our stories have been silenced, hidden or lost. Let's reweave them!

the Red Butterfly Teachings

In the early 90's, I was honored to be
introduced into the ancient blood mysteries by
many women. The authors, Brooke Medicine Eagle and Kisma K.Stepenich, both sparked my
inner fire and rekindled within me a rememberance of who I am as woman. It was then that I was guided to walk the Path of Beauty. The Lakota Medicine Woman, Hazel, was my first official, yet, informal
teacher in the ways of the sacred Moonlodge. She shared and passed much of her wisdom on to me, as
her only granddaughter (not by blood, but of spirit). During that decade, I was given many stories
and dream messages about the Red Butterfly Society. I held this wisdom within, and yet,
I could not contain it and was compelled
to share what was coming to me from
every direction with a select group
of women.
The Moon Lodge
Teachings evolved into a
workshop that I wrote, facilitated
and shared with many women, of all ages.
For many, many years afterward, I was continually instructed in the ancient, wise-
woman, medicine ways of knowing.This unique
workshop is a culmination of those early teachings,
as well as the wisdom that has been given to me by
my dream-time grandmothers. They have shared the almost forgotten Red Butterfly Society ways and
mysteries and teachings with me. It has been a great honor to have received this wisdom.Though I am nearing my cessation of bleeding, I still honor my moontime. I am involved with and embracing of
the sacred, healing energies and blessings of the
Red Tent movement. This online workshop
is an offering I wish to share with women everywhere, so that those who are truly of
pure heart and of sisterly intentions
can share in sacred circle with other
women, in their own moon lodge
or red tent.
